I want to share a beautiful heart & soul slideshow from my wonderful talented sister. I look up to her and admire her for following her dreams and passions in life. My sister absolutely loves what she does for a living and is an amazing photographer…and it truly shows!

This one is going out to all the mothers!!

For those who know me know I like to talk about poo. You will usually get a question from me and its usually around the time we are eating a nice dinner “How are your BM’s doing? “

I have to share this book…it is the best bathroom book I have ever seen! Its written by a doctor and it gives you all the questions you might have about your poo with a medical explanation what might be going on internally. The best part about this book are the witty names of each type of poo…The camouflage poo, The monster poo, The log jam, The deja poo, The hanging chad, The rambo poo, The ring of fire and my favorite… poo-phoria.

What's your poo telling you?

Here is one of my favorite embarrassing poo story on Youtube.

I was reading You On A Diet book by the one and only Dr.Oz. I thought this was very interesting. So next time you are craving food, take a look at the emotional side.

Our moods dictate what we eat. Researchers studied the diets of people to show how personality and foods collide. How our moods may steer us to certain foods, on the basis of their physical characteristics. The study theorized that many moods send specific signals; for example, stressed adrenal glands could be sending salt-craving signals. So what does your favorite turn-to food say about you?

What you reach for and most likely how you are feeling

1. Tough foods, like meat or hard and crunchy foodsAngry

2. Sugars – Depressed

3. Soft and sweet foods like ice cream – Anxious

4. Salty foods – Stressed

5. Bulky, fill you up foods like crackers and pasta Lonely, Sexually frustrated

6. Anything and everything – Jealous

Hi,
It’s that time of year again for us to pitch in and help raise awareness and funds for Cystic Fibrosis research.

As most of you know, my niece Kala was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at birth. She has been a healthy little girl thus far (and we are so grateful), but we want to make sure she remains as happy and healthy as she is today.

Cystic fibrosis (CF), which affects the lungs and the digestive system, is the most common, fatal, genetic (or inherited) disease affecting Canadian children and young adults.
All money raised will support the work of the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

So, the entire Leeder family will be pledging and attending the annual CF Great Strides walk at the Toronto Zoo on Sunday May 31, 2009.

As fun as the event was last year, it’ll be even more exciting this year. Kala will be five years old and her reactions to the animals are always priceless. Please join as for the walk at the Toronto Zoo!!
Help us take steps towards a cure!
Thank you again to those of you who donated last year!

There is something so uplifting about spring time. Slowly all life on earth starts coming out of hibernation. I notice that life moves into and transforms people around me. My friends are happier and have a higher vibration. This is also my perfect weather to run in. I just started running again this season, now that winter is finally melting away. I love listening to the sound of the pitter patter of my feet hitting the pavement and the rush of adrenalin pumping through my body. I find running a great stress reliever. I love getting that “runners high”…that clear and calm state after a long run. Running is also a great time to reflect, meditate, be creative and daydream about the future as well as lose those extra winter pounds. We all know the many health benefits to running…it can reduce your chances of everything from the common cold to cancer.

My favorite kind of runners are the hardcore runners, who run in all kinds of weather…rain or shine, blizzards, storms, hurricanes. I am not one of them. I love receiving the runner’s wave or nod as you pass by each other. It always makes me happier and gives me a jolt of energy. It’s like they are saying “Hey, you’re running too and feeling amazing like me…keep up the great work!”

If you don’t feel motivated enough to run on your own, find a buddy who would push you or join a running group (great chance to meet some new people)

So get out there and go for a run, jog, rollerblade or walk.
